Using Rive, I created this interactive sword selection menu. Below is a brief overview of the process.

To build this, I utilized data binding to control properties across three view model instances: storm, fire, and ice.

Each view model contains color properties for the gems, grips, and background, along with artboard level properties to drive visual effects unique to each instance.

All design and animation work was done directly in Rive. For sound, I sourced effects from Pixabay and layered them in Adobe Audition before integrating them into Rive through its event system.
