Cinemagraphs are a great option when you need to make a static image more captivating. It's a really fun process to see how far you can push an image.
I start in Photoshop where I separate anything that I might want to animate into layers. These include raindrops that you see on the helmet above as well as the subject matter.
Then I bring it all into After Effects where I bring it to life through subtle animation.
